Our name was inspired by the serpent, an early brass instrument that is the distant ancestor to the modern day tuba and other low brass instruments. Just as the serpent changed the world of music, Serpent Banking aims to change the financial world. We are the first online-only bank. Not being tied down to a physical location allows us to offer everyone the best experience.

Despite what his name may imply, Chris hates bacon with a passion. While the full story is very long and very complicated, it involves a corkscrew, a 2 liter bottle, and a very confused pig.

Barry Onyx personally designed the security of this bank from scratch. Mr. Onyx guarantees that Personal users have nothing to worry about. Mr. Onyx claims that if this bank had a physical location, it would take a Caesarean army 10 years to break into it.
Security
All passwords and usernames are encrypted. No one, not even Serpent Banking, knows your password. Business accounts are encrypted with a more complicated cipher compared to Personal users, and even other banks.
